O.O Gambit is my fav super hero!!!!
Mostly cause he's Cajun just like me.
He has an old Cajun accent.
We say Sha Not chere.
In the cartoons it sounds like a really old Cajun from New Orleans.
Which he is, but no one really speaks like that anymore.
He sounds a little more french than Cajun at times.
There are many many different Cajun accents, but the coolest is what I call "swamp Cajun"
If you ever watched Water Boy. That Old fat guy that mumbles well he sounds alot like a swamp Cajun.
Most people think Cajuns live in New Orleans.
But Cajuns live in the heel of the boot up to the center of Louisiana.
This area is called Cajun Country or Acadiana.
The word "Cajun" comes from the mispronunciation of the word "Acadian"
The Acadian people where poor farms that had their land stolen forcefully, then the ones that weren't killed were put on boats and shipped to Louisiana.
O and would just like to add that New Orleans was not built under sea level, It being under sea level had something to do with the shifting of the Mississippi River.
